A pocket full of lavender and sunshine on my knees
I’ll kick you full of roses and I’ll feed you to my bees
Petals formed from starlight, and roots woven from stone
I have pollen in my bloodstream, I have honey in my bones
So come my patrons greedy eyes, come drink of all my wares
Come rip from me all that you need to aid in your affairs
But should I rise among the worms, pray do not scream or shout
Be still and silent as I slowly carve my payment out

“petals formed from starlight, and roots woven from stone” – what a wonderful line! Linda 🙂
